Lecture summary

The Data Management in BIM module contains the necessary knowledge and skills to
effectively manage BIM projects and handle data during their life cycle. Participants
will develop skills for comparing and utilizing cutting-edge technologies, tools, and
software to ensure interoperability and collaboration among stakeholders and data
exchange among applications.

Learning outcomes

At the end of this lecture, the learner is expected to be able to:

  • Formulate key principles for effective BIM project management.
  • Compare the technologies, software, and tools to ensure seamless interoperability between
    different software applications.
  • List and describe techniques to optimize data workflows through collaboration.
  • Select method for analysing BIM data, generating reports, and creating visualizations for
    support decision-making in BIM projects.
